At Knowtion Health, our people and culture are what make our solutions impactful to our clients. Knowtion Intros is our way of pulling back the curtain and introducing the experts, advocates, and industry veterans who show up every day to fight for providers and patients. Every new face brings new firepower, and we think that's worth celebrating.
Great hires may fill a seat, but, more importantly, they also open doors. Frank Carozzi's arrival as Regional Vice President on our Commercial team does exactly that for Knowtion Health in the Great Lakes region.
Frank is an Ohio native through and through, with deep roots and even deeper relationships across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. He brings decades of healthcare and revenue cycle experience to the role, which has allowed him to lean in with his clients to address their toughest challenges.
"Denial rates continue to increase annually—both technical and clinical—making it more and
more difficult for health systems to get paid for the services they provide."
- Frank Carozzi, Regional Vice President
Case in point: in 2018, he identified a large healthcare provider in Ohio that had no automated way to track and measure the productivity of their 300-person insurance follow-up team. Frank introduced a new technology solution, shepherded it through the proposal and approval process, and saw it implemented within 10 months. The result? The client surpassed their productivity goals, and in the words of their Executive VP of Revenue Cycle at the time, it completely changed the way the organization worked insurance claims. The technology is still in use today.
That kind of outcome—listening to a client's needs, collaborating through the process, and watching client performance improve—is exactly why Knowtion Health exists, and it's a big part of why Frank chose to join the Knowtion team.
"Knowtion is positioned to help health systems recover what they've already earned but
aren't getting paid, without adding additional staff. Health systems need the services in
our portfolio."
- Carozzi
Frank is quick to point out that it wasn't just the solutions that won him over. It was the people. Knowtion Health's reputation and the strength of culture were top of mind when he was evaluating the opportunity, and that kind of cultural alignment matters when you're asking someone to represent your brand in a market where relationships and trust are everything.
"We are very fortunate to have Frank join the Knowtion Health family. His deep, trusted
relationships; industry acumen; and client-first approach are hallmarks of Knowtion Health's
reputation, and we couldn't have found an individual more aligned to those core values. We
welcome his contributions to the team and look forward to his continued success here
at Knowtion Health."
- Adam Cartabiano, Chief Growth Officer
But beyond the resume, Frank is the kind of person you want in your corner. He is active in HFMA, which means he's also genuinely invested in the broader healthcare finance community. And we're not the only ones who think so. People from across the industry have reached out to share how great a fit they think Frank is for Knowtion. That speaks volumes about the reputation he has built over a career defined by persistence, expertise, and genuine care for his clients.
Off the clock, Frank can be found on the golf course, spending time with his family, or remembering his days as a college baseball player. Either way, his competitive instincts are very much intact, and they're now squarely focused on fighting for providers across the region.
Frank is focused on net new business across the Great Lakes region, partnering with health systems to help them recover revenue they're owed, strengthen their A/R operations, and discover new revenue streams they may not be capturing on their own.
Welcome to Knowtion Health, Frank! We're fired up to have you here.
